Launching the Imagination 66-81
The things this section talks about is very similar to a photography class I had in high school, and is also close to why we're doing in Fine Arts this semester. In photography, we took pictures of things that would resemble repetition, variety, and others. In Fine Arts, we're cutting out black shapes and experimenting with the weights between black and white and how they create negative and positive space. The shapes also show how the different placements of the same shapes can make a picture look heavy, light, slow, or fast. I thought it was funny how similar the book is to that class.
