POL 223-260
What's funny is that I never realized that media is the plural form of medium! I'm glad I read this before I've used the word "mediums." At least, I don't think I have. I don't know how I didn't know that.. It makes sense.
I might have snippets of thoughts for this blog post.. I have a headache.
So- random thoughts begin-
I think it's true on page 230 where it talks about watching shows is social, whether with someone or by yourself. It's really no fun to watch a show that nobody else watches-- which is why I'm on Pinterest. Not many of my friends watch Doctor Who, or they aren't as enthusiastic about it as I am. Doctor Who is HUGELY popular on the internet, so... That's where I go.
Also, on page 252, it says that on 9/11, "[One plane crashed] into rural Pennsylvania and one into the U.S. Pentagon in Virginia." There was a hijacked plane headed for the Pentagon, but it was never hit.. (Again with these books..!) It does talk about how one plane missed Washington D.C, but makes it sound like the Pentagon was hit..
Alright, end of thoughts while reading!
