Tunalock!

Sherlock. As a tuna. I promise I didn't make it up! Anyway, here's an old(ish) pencil drawing..

And yes, I redrew it on my Bamboo!

The colors look kind of wonky to me.. but I made them tuna-ically.. accurate.

I just realised I spent 2-3 hours straight on this..
It's so much fun.

(Here's proof that Tunalock actually exists..)

Whelp, jumping into the Tumblr art world with a really silly AU.I’ve been doing productive things all week so here’s some tunalock.

Tunalock and emotions.

And my favorite...

Realistic proportions do not matter when it comes to Sherlock, tuna, and tea.

Normal Conversation..

This is the type of conversation you'll see a lot with me and my kind.

I don't even know what do say about this.

I DON'T NEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF!!

I Should Be Studying..

I saw ^ that ^ picture and decided it needed to be a gif. Obviously.

There are still little bugs .. it wobbles.

But I must retire for the night.
...
BYE!

Scarfoo!

This is a video that a friend and I made a few summers ago..
This is what we do for FUN!

I'm still not sure if  this video is too embarrassing to share on my blog...
Ah well..

Edbassmaster!

Edbassmaster is THE master of performance art (to me!).

He has several personas, such as Skippy, Swollen, Tequila, Mumbles, and more!

I can't pick a favorite video to share. There are too many good ones!

Edbassmaster's Youtube Homepage!

So here are a few goodies!

Okay, I have to stop. Seriously, go check it out!

Redrawn owls!

I drew some owls last year according to how I was feeling at that precise second..
(I just really love owls, guys)

I still really liked them, so I decided to redraw them with my Bamboo tablet!

New Doctor Who Clip..

This New "Day Of The Doctor" Clip Might Actually, Physically Destroy "Doctor Who" Fans

A headline on BuzzFeed.
Accurate.

"Ten and Eleven and Fezzes, someone hold me."
I watched this Friday night...
It was a scary sight to behold. I think I won't go into detail .. XD

(x)

(This is the sort of stuff I mean when I say fandoms need therapy.. I've got some good videos to put in my website, though!)

Okay.. I'm Amazed.

This past weekend, the BBC released two trailers for the 50th Anniversary Special (Ha, I'm typing that as if I'm not OVERLY EXCITED OVER IT) ..
So I was searching Youtube, and found this video:
I thought it was an actual trailer. I mean, these are scenes that you couldn't get anywhere else...
But wait, it was posted in June..
It IS fan made!! ...HOW?!

Woah. THAT is talent.

Van Gogh..

.. in Doctor Who!

"Look at the sky. It’s not dark and black and without character….The black is in fact deep blue.'"

One of the many reasons I love Doctor Who...  sigh...

(X)

"There is so much more to the world than the average eye is allowed to see. If you look hard, there are more wonders in this universe than you could ever have dreamed of."

Doctor Who Propoganda!

I've seen a couple Doctor Who propoganda posters, but here's a new one I've seen!

The very first words the Doctor says in the reboot...
RUN!

Now it's just an unspoken theme throughout the series.. a whole lot of running! Speaking of which, I'll share a video from the band Chameleon Circuit..... a Trock Band (Time Rock) who make awesome songs about Doctor Who!!!

Continuing Gifs!

The other day, DTC posted a link to perfectly looping gifs on Facebook.

Then, I saw this gif of David Tennant eating popcorn like a boss:

It's SO close to being perfect!!

So I just did this. v

It's not perfect, but it's better!

Anything to distract myself from writing an essay....!

Big Books of RGB

The artist Tauba Auerbach mapped the entire RGB color scheme on 3 cube shaped books.. This is every visible color right here.. (Imagine the time it took!)

Doctor Who Coins!

I've known about this for quite a while, but I thought I'd share it.. Actual coins.. real money! Haha- like I'd spend it! I could buy one for $128.43, and buy something for $2 with it... NOPE!Doctor Who 50th Anniversary 1oz Silver Coin

http://www.nzmint.com/

These, however, are fake. In the show, there's a part where a bunch of money flies out of an ATM.. this is what was actually printed on them! You can actually buy these too!

Floating Shiny Knot!

I just love Vsauce. They show you cool things and give you the links!

I think this only works in Chrome or Firefox. I don't think I'm going to describe it, and just give you a link. See for yourself!

You have to put in a location in Google Maps.... guess what I gave you the coordinates for?!

Yep.

Materials and Methods..

[[355]]
Launching the Imagination 231-256

I thought this chapter was very interesting. I had never really thought about how the Statue of Liberty was made, or what was inside (I just knew it was copper!). We obviously know that pieces of art have to be able to hold themselves together, or that they can be made from wood, glass, plastic, or others, but I think the writer did a good job keeping it interesting (I only got distracted a few times.. ha!). I also like when you see the picture that's on the front inside the book.. It's like, it seems familiar.. I bet it's... *checks the front* .. YES! It is! (figure 11.29)

It's like when you're watching a TV show, and they say the name of the episode in the episode!! YEAHH!!

The Day of the Doctor!

This doesn't have to count as a blog post, I don't care!
Yep, I just did that.

Propoganda!

Don't understand it? Simple solution.. go watch Doctor Who!

I'm Not Completely Crazy!

So on Pinterest, on a Doctor Who picture, there was a picture of a ginger (inside joke!)

Now. Tell me if you see anything in this picture other than.. a ginger root.
Look at it. Examine it.. before you scroll down to the next picture!

Okay. Making sure you weren't looking ahead.  Honestly tell me if you saw a gracefully jumping dinosaur.

No?

Okay fine.

You see?!

The Elements of Design..

[[355]]
Launching the Imagination 176-198

So I just have to say the reading is almost identical to what I've been reading in my Fine Arts class. This particular chapter combined just about.. the whole book for that class. That book has talked about lines, perspectives, form, shape, space, you name it.

..I can't help but say.. the "Sun Tunnels" on page 192 just remind me of the portals in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

They look like the portals..

Do they not?!

Art Gallery!

First off, I just wanted to say that the picture on the right reminded me of the picture on the left by Banksy.. (except VERY simplified!)

Also, I really liked that since they are all black and white pictures, the way they were set up seemed like the art itself. It just felt like they all belonged up there on the wall together. The 7 smaller pictures between the bigger ones just felt right.
I also really liked the art that seemed like they were just pictures, but actually had physical objects on the picture. When I looked at them, I almost had to do a double-take, and realized there was more to look at. The objects fit into the rest of the picture perfectly.

Safe Levels?

Steven Moffat: A Doctor Who Star Trek crossover? I’d do it in a shot!

I thought it was funny when I read this article.. it says,

"Remember the comic book series in which the 11th Doctor teams up with Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the starship Enterprise? You don’t? Then your sci-fi geek levels may still be within safe levels… "
http://www.radiotimes.com

..

I own every single one of them.

Categorization!

[[356]]

"Women, Fire, and Dangerous Things" wasn't really what I was expecting to read. I guess you could say I didn't categorize a title like that into something that would be about categorization (Which I guess, proves its point..). It did make me wonder what we would think like if we didn't think in those terms. I mean, I have a cat laying beside me (someone else's cat.. I don't even like cats.. nevertheless, there it lies.), and thinking about just that makes me think, okay, cat. It's a pet. Black and white. Nice..? (I mean, for a cat. Cats are evil.) (And oh hey, I just accidentally categorized cats as evil. That wasn't even going to be a point. You see?!)  Anyway, before I overthink everything in life... I'm gonna quit right here....

No.. here.

Dead Drops

Dead Drops is a project where they go around and stick USB flash drives into walls or any other accessible place. The public is invited to drop or find files on it, and it contains a text file explaining the project. There are at least 5 in New York, but they're going to put up a manual on how to put one somewhere yourself.
(I think it seems a bit precarious.. it could break.. you should bring a cord with you!)
